Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our partners at The Learning Foundation, our Fall literacy teacher training program is well underway! In September, Ndye met with Mamusu and Agnes for a weekend-long workshop to continue their training to become teacher trainers. During the workshop Mamusu and Agnes practiced conducting training workshops, shared their ideas for what teachers would like to learn, and worked with Ndye to plan the remaining teacher training workshops for this year.

The second round of early literacy training for our teachers in the South happening right now! Mamusu and Agnes are with Ndye training class 1-3 teachers on phonics and how to teach young children how to read. The feedback from these workshops has been very positive, and the teachers are very motivated by the additional training and teaching resources they are receiving through this program.
