In early February, Juliet visited our schools in the Western Area for reproductive health education lessons. This time, she included junior secondary school students in the community in addition the the students in our primary schools. Twenty two girls in the communities of Children in Crisis school and Education for All school received Days for Girls menstruation kits made by our team of tailors in Sierra Leone. These menstruation kits are life-changing and give girls the resources they need to stay in school.
Juliet also taught reproductive health education and distributed menstruation kits in the community 38 miles outside Freetown where Programme for Children is nearing completion on construction of a junior secondary school. The students at Mile 38 were eager for the information and the girls are so excited for their menstruation kits and the opportunities they provide. Ninety eight junior and secondary school girls received menstruation kits.
To help make reproductive education and menstruation kits available to more students, please donate by clicking the button below. Thank you!
