Madina is a rural community in the far northern part of Sierra Leone. It is very difficult to get to during rainy season, and the education support in that area is minimal. This community had a crumbling mud-block school that was not safe for use.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Dr. Ken Lans, Madina now has a new, safe school that will revitalize educational opportunity for the children of Madina for generations to come.

This project was completed by our partner Salifu and his construction team and overseen by our partners Hamidu and Clinton.
